Catalyst AGM Success
Anna Cunningham, one of the beneficiaries of this scheme, spoke about the positive impact on her son. She said: “Stepping Stones has changed the way I cope with the situation. They have shown me that Alfie has a future. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to repay them.”
Tracy Freeman, North East Essex Wheelchair Services Manager and Specialist OT spoke about how a wheelchair user, who has accessed the Wheelchair Services, has been supported by Catalyst. Jackie Denton a wheelchair user also spoke about how the Catalyst Special Individual Needs scheme has improved their life.
The AGM of the Colchester Catalyst Charity was held on Monday 13th April 2015 at Langham Community Centre.
The meeting was well attended. In her introductory remarks, Christine Hayward (Chair) said that although we are in more difficult economic times with limited funding, the charity would continue with its grant making activities with particular emphasis on innovation, partnerships, working with small groups, new ways of thinking and research projects.

The Company Auditors Whittle & Co were re-elected.
Following the AGM a presentation was given by Sufina Ahmad from the Big Lottery Fund.
