Wendy and I attended the Ferriers Barn AGM in Bures where some of the members’ work
was on sale. Ferriers Barn celebrated their ruby anniversary last year and provide facilities
for physically disabled people where they can learn arts and crafts and other occupational
skills with a view to producing items for sale. They currently have 26 disabled people who
visit the centre on a regular basis and they have a number of volunteers who offer one to
one support on the activities that they undertake. These include pottery, woodwork and arts
and crafts.
